Online Nurse Assistant

This program equips students to deliver high-quality care to residents and patients in their own homes, assisted living settings, or nursing care facilities. Participants will gain comprehensive knowledge in various aspects of resident care, including Body Mechanics, Support with Daily Activities, taking Vital Signs and Nutrition.

Practical training takes place at our partner institutions. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be awarded a Certificate of Completion and will have the opportunity to sit for the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program Exam. Successful completion of this exam will lead to licensing as a Certified Nurse Assistant.  The certification exam is administered on our campus.

Job Assistance is provided to all students for employment with our partner organizations.

Length of Program: 

AM Schedule: 30 days - 6 weeks

AM Weekend Schedule: 30 days - 15 weeks

PM Schedule: 42 days - 9 weeks


AM Schedule (30 days):

Weekdays Session- Theory: 13 days M-F (9:00am-3:00pm)

Clinicals: 17 days M-F (8:00am-3:00pm)

Weekend Session: Theory: 13 days SatSun (9:00am-3:00pm)

Clinicals: 17 days SatSun (8:00am-3:00pm)


PM Schedule (42 days):

Theory: 15 days, M-F (5:00pm-10:00pm)

Clinicals: 27 days, M-F (3:30pm-8:00pm)


Cities where clinical sites are located:

Daly City, San Francisco, Vacaville, Oakland, Pacifica, Belmont, Greenbrae, Santa Cruz, Hayward, Castro Valley

Graduation Requirements:

1. Completion of all required hours of theory, lab and clinical (Including externship, if applicable)
2. Achieved a minimum grade of C or 75% at the end of the program
3. Submission of all required class assignments, reports and papers
4. Return of all materials borrowed from the school during the term of the program
5. Fulfillment of all financial obligations

Total Cost: $2,170.00
(includes Registration, Tuition, CPR/BLS, Materials & Supplies, Uniforms, Technology Fee, and NNAAP Exam Fee (Certification)

The following requirements should be accomplished for admission to the program: 

  1. Completion of Enrollment Agreement 
  2. Payment of Registration Fee 
  3. Must be at least 16 years old 
  4. Must possess a valid government issued ID
  5. Must speak, write and understand English
  6. Must possess or in the process of obtaining a Social Security Number or TIN at the time of enrollment
  7. Completed medical history, physical examination and PPD signed by a physician or nurse practitioner
  8. Undergo a live scan process upon admission
  9. Current CPR certification with BLS is prior to direct contact with patients
