EKG Technician

This program focuses on the anatomy and physiology of the heart, medical terminology on cardiovascular care and learn the function and proper use of the EKG machine.

Upon completion, you will receive a Certificate of Completion and may take the National Certification Exam conducted by the National Center for Competency Testing.


Length of Program: 4 weeks

Schedule: MWF (6pm - 10pm), Sat/Sun (9am - 3pm), TWTh (10am - 2pm)

Externship: Not required

The following requirements should be accomplished for admission to the program: 

  1. Completion of Enrollment Agreement 
  2. Payment of Registration Fee 
  3. Must be at least 18 years old 
  4. Must submit proof of 12th grade education or its equivalent: High School Diploma from an accredited school or General Education Diploma (GED). * Foreign graduates must have a high school diploma or transcript evaluated for 12th grade equivalency in the US.
  5. Must possess a valid government issued ID
  6. Must speak, write and understand English
  7. Must possess or in the process of obtaining a Social Security Number at the time of enrollment
  8. Current CPR certification with BLS prior to direct contact with patients
