RESPONSE TO CORONAVIRUS
The level of concern surrounding the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) has continued to increase. Here at NCNA, we are committed to the health and safety of our employees, students and community. We will remain proactive and vigilant in our response as we continue to serve our students the best way possible.
We advise everyone to stay safe and healthy by taking the following preventive measures:
Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue. If you don’t have a tissue, cough and sneeze into the inside of your elbow, not your hands
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
Avoid crowded places
Stay home when sick
Wash hands often with soap and water. If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer
REGISTRATION AND ENROLLMENT
Our Admission Team are working remotely, and are available over the phone and online. The best number to reach us as of March 17, 2020 is (650) 296-5448. You may also leave a voice message at (650) 684-0315.
Our Admission Counselors will be doing phone appointments between 10am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
SF Bay Area residents have been ordered to "Shelter-at-Home" to protect the public's health during this coronavirus outbreak. We wanted everyone to be safe, but also make sure that there is continuity in your program.
We are transitioning lectures to a virtual classroom (with your instructor). This will be done through Google Meet, where everyone will log in at the same time that you are scheduled to be in class. Similar to an in person session, you will be able to see your classmates and participate during class time. Attendance will be checked at the beginning of the class until the end. We may record your participation for grading purposes.
Clinical Training for the Nursing Assistant Program is suspended until further notice.
Hemodialysis Technician Training will have a modified clinical lab schedule.
Feel free to let us know when you have any questions.
Thank you and stay safe!
